Unfortunately, over the weekend of 1st-2nd February 2020, we had a major water leak from the water tank in the loft at the Lower Wick surgery. This has resulted in extensive damage throughout the practice and as a result we will be unable to open for consultations and surgical procedures for the immediate future at Lower Wick.
We are working to find alternative options to provide our clients and their pets with the service that they need, but at the current time all patients will need to be seen at our Upton upon Severn branch. We have additional appointment slots available at our Upton surgery and this branch has a large car park, reception area and separate dog and cat waiting areas. All of our usual vet and nurses are working as normal at Upton and look forward to seeing you there. If you are unable to travel to Upton then do please contact us and we may be able to arrange a house visit depending on your pet’s needs.
For more information about the Upton surgery and how to get there please click here.
We are in the process of contacting our clients who have pre-booked appointments that are likely to be affected, however if you have an appointment booked and have not yet heard from us then please do contact us to rearrange or discuss further.
We had hoped to have members of staff present at the Lower Wick surgery for much of the day for the collection of food/medication, however the situation has changed this week and this is no longer a viable option for our staff due to health and safety concerns regards staff being at the practice for prolonged periods of time.
We are able to have a team member present at the Lower Wick surgery between 8 and 9am and again between 5 and 6pm each week day. We ask that for any food or repeat medication orders that you contact us by telephone at least 24 hours in advance so that we can arrange to have it ready for you by 5-6pm the following day. If you are unable to attend the surgery between these hours then do please contact us and we will do our best to assist wherever we are able.
We will be unable to open on Saturday mornings at the present time. During the time that the Lower Wick surgery is closed, phone calls will automatically be diverted to our Upton receptionists, or between 7:00pm and 8:00am to Vets Now, Worcester for any out of hours emergencies.
Works are soon to begin to remove damaged ceilings, floors and fittings to enable drying of the property and we will keep you updated with the progress of these works.
Please keep an eye on this webpage and our Facebook page for more information in the coming weeks, we will update as soon as we there are any developments.
We thank all of our clients, and staff, for their understanding and patience at this time and would like you to be assured that we are doing our utmost to rectify this situation as soon as we are able.
