I graduated from Cambridge University vet school in 2004 before working in equine practice in Dorset and for a charity in Norfolk. My next role was based at a large equine hospital where I specialised in internal medicine cases including doing lots of endoscopy and ultrasound. I successfully completed my Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice in equine medicine. I have subsequently decided to focus on small animals instead and enjoy all aspects of my role especially investigating medical and skin cases and imaging including ultrasound and x-rays.
I have a beautiful lurcher called Solo who loves walks on the Malvern Hills where I live … when she’s not asleep under her duvet! In my spare time I enjoy fell running and walking, and when I get the chance I like to go skiing and travelling – I’ve recently returned from Australia.
