Emergencies Announcement

Find out more about changes to our emergency procedure

As you are hopefully aware, we work with the UK’s leading pet emergency service, Vets Now, to provide emergency care for your pet at nights, weekends and bank holidays. Whatever your pet emergency, the Vets Now team will be there to give you and your pet the care and support you need at the time you need it most.

Vets Now are currently based from Brentknoll veterinary practice in Whittington, Worcester. As Vets Now have grown, (they now cover the out-of-hours emergencies for the majority of vet practices in the area), they have outgrown these premises. To ensure they can provide the best service possible, Vets Now will be relocating to Severn Veterinary Centre in Berkley Way, Worcester. This practice has just undergone a large extension and refurbishment and will be able to offer more space and more up-to-date facilities.

Vets Now’s new address from 7pm on Monday 29th April will be:

Vets Now

c/o Severn Vets

Berkeley Way

Warndon Villages

Worcester

WR4 9UP

Although Vets Now will share the practice premises with Severn Vets, they are a separate company who only provide the out-of-hours service when the Severn practice, like all other daytime practices, has closed. If you have an emergency, whether during the day or night, please call us at The Stocks Vets as usual on 01684  592606/01905 422294. If we’re not open we’ll inform you how to contact Vets Now. Their dedicated team will advise whether you need to see a vet, and if so they will help you with an appointment and with directions to the clinic.

The new clinic at Severn Veterinary Centre is only a few more minutes’ drive along the A4440 than their previous location.
